Almost 10 years of experience in both Main Stream and Smaller Market Voiceover. Ray was "discovered" while editing on television shows. The producers ended up replacing the current announcer with Ray on several projects (sorry, whoever that was). He promptly quit his editing job and began recording Voiceover full time (sorry, edit facility).

OK, I'm now breaking this third person silliness.

I've been trained, and have several years experience, in television editing. What this gives me is the inside knowledge of what a read needs to be, in order to fit properly into a particular project. It helps me be a better storyteller. It helps me understand timing and tone. It helps a director explain to me what they're looking for, simply because I understand the realm on the other side of the mic.

I also read to children for a couple charities. This certainly helps me with storytelling, but also with understanding the need for freshness and vibrancy within a read.
