My Voice Experience

Ahh, experience: Well, in Memphis there was a little radio station with the call letters WEVL. It had 10 whole watts of power. Not 10,000. Not 100,000. 10. Which severly limited my listening audience -- who only called in wanting some Australian sheepherder music, anyway. Marriages, then careers in the Navy, human resources, computer / website management, and physical therapy followed. Several hundred times I was told, "Hey, you have a GREAT voice. Why don't you do some voice-over work?" Finally, at 47, I took their advice, enrolled in a professional voice-over class, and, well, here I am. I'm "Cheap Labor" 'cuz I'm not in it for the money -- just because I think it's fun and I enjoy the experience(s). I'm new, but am willing to give you 100%!
