From paper towels to your neighbourhood bank I have voiced a range of products for a variety of clients in the Caribbean and now I want to serve you.
My list of clients includes Telecoms giant Digicel, Banks like First Citizens,Rbtt, Scotiabank, the unit trust corporation, the co-operative credit union league, the water and sewerage authority, bounty paper towels, kitchen corner, kiss bakeries just to name a few.
Whatever the product Ray's voice is right for you.
I hold a Bachelors degree in Government from the University of the West Indies and a Certificate in Public Administration.
My classical vocal training began at the age of 17 under the tutilage of Opera singers Lorna Mae-Mayers and the late Chesterton Ali.
I have performed throughout the caribbean and was one of the local cast in the travelling performance of Porgie and Bess.
I was also proud to release my own album of christmas selections called "Ray of Hope" in 2006 it recieves tremendous airplay during the holiday season.
I was trained as a Journalist by retired B-B-C journalist/features producer David Tindall.
I have worked as one of the local correspondents for the B-B-C Caribbean Service in Trinidad for over 8 years.
I have served in a variety of creative capacities from my first job as a cub reporter working my way up to serve as a senior producer/weekend anchor for the state television station and then on to the head of news position for a Smooth Jazz station in Trinidad for 2 and a half years.
I followed this with a stint as the program director for a Talk radio station which alowed my creativity to blossom further not just having to voice commercials and promos but now having to write produce and supervise quality production of these show elements.
Funny story I built a mini recording studio at home becasue my wife who is also in the business was really tired of having to drive to her radio station on a weekend to do the news.
But it turns out that what I built for her at home sounds better than the equipment she uses at work.
It's a simple set up digital audio editing software, an external sound card, studio quality microphone mounted in a proper shockguard, patched into a small powered mixer.
Just enough to get the big jobs done at a small price.
But it also helps to have friends with more gear than you do so I have access to some of the top studio's in the caribbean which can be incorporated into the various projects should the need arise.
I love and am very passionate about music and quality sound at that.
I believe that my voice is a blessing and a gift and I use it as best I can to serve.
