My Voice Experience

My voiceover experience comes from natural talent. Growing up as a child, I remember my parents giving me one of those Mattel vocoders and I would always play with it; doing different voices. I would always mimmick my friends just for laughs. I love making people laugh. Fast-forwarding to my college career, I have always heard people tell me I should get into voice acting. I have always wanted to do so but did not know how to get my foot in the door. So now I pursue a career to entertain all with my personality. I personally never had any personal training for doing voice work. It's something that I have always liked to do for kicks and putting smiles on any one I interact with. I'm just a time bomb waiting to explode on the market.

My Training

I currently attend St. john's University where I major in Mass Communications. But my primary focus is Television & Film. I have taken several production courses that further enhance my experience to working in the Entertainment business. Back in 2006, I attended IAR (Institute of Audio Research). There I learned the ins & outs to being an audio engineer. I am a certified Audio Engineer but at the moment I continue my education first. At St John's, I have taken Broadcasting for radio, Non Linear Editing, Film Production. In these courses I have recorded small news stories, shot a MOS short film (3 min) and edit commercials using Final Cut Pro. I still endeavour to be an Editor. But doing voices is where my heart is.
