My Voice Experience
I have always been fascinated by the voices and sounds that would come out of the radio. In fact in 7th grade when all the other kids turned in thier final report on paper, I used my voice and spoke into a tape recorder. In high school I interviewed myself for a book report by pre recording myself asking the questions; then during class I played the questions so I could answer them live in class. I also put together an old time radio Dragnet style detective program. My teacher was so happy with it she used it as an example in many of her future classes.
I broke into radio in 1992 reading the news and weather in Denver Colorado. I continued my radio career until 2005 at which time I got married and moved to California. During my radio career I have used my voice talents for live morning shows, numerous commercials, and TV ads. I have also used my voiceover talent for a local theater in Breckenridge Colorado.
My Training
My father had his own ad agency, and I learned a great deal from him. He used my voiceover talents quite a bit in radio and TV commercials.
I've also taken speech and acting classes in school, and I've taken relevant college courses.
