Voice Description

I have a very versatile voice - I can do smooth, soothing reads, or kick it up a notch for harder edged style. I can do younger, fun or silly sounding female characters. My voice was used as "Yuri" in the Kingdom Of Fighters Maximum Impact game for PS2. I was Also "Granny Bomber" in Bomberman. My Voice Experience

I've been a "voice actor" nearly all of my life - on stage from the age of 5. I sing as well. I was in broadcasting for almost 17 years. I've done voices for 3 video games, and was the voice of a singing Christmas Tree that was sold at Dollar General Store. Most of my air work in radio has been done in Ohio, Kentucky, Grand Cayman, B.W.I., Tennessee, New Jersey, Staten Island NY, and Pennsylvania.

Additional Skills

Being in Radio for many years and being a student of the Theater has allowed me to take a step back and really listen to what is going into the commercial - if it is a straight informational read - that's great - they are very effective. I strive to make every word in the copy mean something to the person hearing it.

As far as characters go, I can make the character you are hearing in your head come alive and feel "real." Not just a voice of someone you have hired to "pretend" to be a concerned mom - or a woman in a doctor's waiting room...or a new college graduate - excited about what the future holds...or not...
