My Voice Experience

I am currently in production on an audio book from Key of David publishing Co., and recently became the voice for Advantage Mortgage of SW Florida.

I've received comprehensive training in public relations, leading to work at various radio and television stations as the "Public Relations" Officer for the Police Department. Discovering a 'knack' for copywriting, I created the material for various public awareness and safety campaigns. I also wrote a weekly Op/Ed column for several newspapers.

I've worked part time over the years at several small radio stations, voicing commercials and promos. I am also a freelance writer, having achieved publication in both periodicals and a short story anthology.

I've co-hosted a weekly radio show that utilized many of the different 'characters' I've developed over the years and also allowed me to 'grow' my narrative voice.

My Training

HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
Besides my education and graduation from the 'School of Hard Knocks"...

Upon graduation from High School, I joined the U.S. Navy. I received extensive training in Coronado California before shipping out for my first of two tours in SE Asia.

After being honorably discharged, I accrued in excess of 2500 classroom hours in Law Enforcement / Criminal Justice (over the course of 27 years), studying at both the University of Northern Colorado and the University of Wyoming.

Additional Skills

I am an excellent reader and have a highly competent command of the English language. I can deliver multiple 'options' on any given project very quickly. Having been in the military and police service, I have a 'command' voice ideal for many corporate and educational projects, but can also deliver a very warm and trustworthy voice.
