Voice Description

I speak North American English with a slight southern quality and can do character voices that include British English accents and Australian English accents. My voice is lower than average in pitch and delivery though that can be altered to suit many needs.

My vocal qualities have been referred to as Warm, Inviting, Comforting, Sexy, Professional, Smooth, Relaxing and Commanding.

I’ve voiced Character Parts that include: Elderly Male & Female, Stoner, Children, Cartoon, Redneck, Moron, Surfer, and in one series of commercials I was even known as ‘Bob The Tumor’.

My Voice Experience

I began my career in radio at the age of 18 in 1999. It has offered me the chance to do voice work for thousands of commercials in addition to daily on-air shifts in formats that include: Adult Contemporary, Country, Classic Country, Active Rock, Mainstream Rock, Classis Rock, Top 40 and News/Talk. My experience with remote broadcasts and addressing a crowd at live appearances and events is extensive as well. I’ve hosed week-long TV Telethons, entertained an arena full of Hockey Fans at intermission, introduced countless bands and have even been thrown from a plane… Twice, live on the air.

My Training

The training I’ve received through the years, for the most part has been ‘on the job’ training. Although, I have attended several workshops at Country Radio Seminars and have taken full advantage of the online materials and forums that Clear Channel Broadcasting have provided me.
