Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
Dialects are a part of every day conversations. From "the vicor is coming to dinner" Great Britian the BBC "there was a bombing today..." or a lower class Cockney of Eliza Doolite, skip the pond a bit to Ireland for a sweet and firey red headed story, or Scotland where my brogue is rough and rich as the natives or Even Mother Russia-though some say Ukraine. I am flexible in French and my German grandma will have you asking for strudel.
My Voice Experience
There was a little voice... but instead of being inside of my head it just came out my mouth, and changed it's appearance quite regularly. This is how the voice over business began for me, a love of variety in speech and song. I've been taking classes to hone this craft for three years, I have my own set up at home and I work for friends and companies who need a solid actor with great VO skills. I've recorded songs for film and TV including How I Met Your Mother, done animation VO for a senoir thesis short, ADR for a feature period piece, and Wala for States of Grace, a feature film.
My Training
Bachelor of Music from Manhattan School of Music NY, NY-Vocal Performance (I sing opera!)
Voice Over for Actors Kalmenson & Kalmenson-Scott Holst
Workout Group -Atlantis Group
Commercial VO-Bill Holmes
SAG Conservatory Seminar with Bob Bergen
Animation VO Class- Bob Bergen
Margharitas Mojitos and Microphones-Compost Productions
My Studio Equipment
I have an Audio Technica shotgun mic that I connect to a M-Audio microtrack recorder II. I use this to record and then plug in the Micro Track to my Mac where I use Audacity to polish up the recordings before sending.
Additional Skills
I have a good amount of long form Improv experience as well as an adaptable style and a friendly demeanor.
