My Voice Experience
Over the last few months, I have recorded several significant pieces for air. First, Maxwell House selected my voice for their latest commercial, which has now been running since the beginning of April. Weeks later, my voice was featured during the Webby Awards (hailed the "Oscars of the Internet"), where the recording announced all of the nominees for the Webby Film and Video Awards ceremony. And finally, just two weeks ago, I recorded a piece for a presentation Emusic.
While this recent work has been my first real foray into career voice work, it is something I have been involved with throughout my entire life. I have always been a mimic, imitating accents and doing character voices. Growing up, I did of a lot of theater work, and in the fall of 2005, I performed as an ensemble member of Northwestern University's radio drama program, the Fay Institute.
