My Voice Experience

I have done voice over commercials for my local radio station Rossendale Radio which has given me great experience of working in a professional radio station studio environment helping to make the VOICE of local business and community projects heard - 2011

I have spent many years as a professional singer covering a range of vocal styles at a wide range of venues including, summer seasons at the Norbreck Castle Hotel, Blackpool, corporate contracts with the Hilton Hotel Group, Best Western Hotels and the MacDonald Hotel group. Tribute work including Kylie Minogue and ABBA, TV work, Dale Winton's Double Image, Stars In Their Eyes 1996 - 2008

My love for performance and voice began in my local community where I participated in group choral recitals giving performances in the UK and Europe at venues including Cologne Catherdral, Notre Dame, The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall and the International Eisteddfod, Wales. I have had many years of VOCAL COACHING which has enabled me to hone my vocal techniques.

I have given workshops and presentations to the general public in Natural Healing techniques in the Northwest including Manchester Central and local Mind, Body & Spirit festivals. 2008-2011

I have participated in LIVELY Student Presentations and debates at the University of Bolton whilst studying for my degree in Psychology 2006-2010

I have studied Music Production at Accrington and Rossendale College (2002) where I was the student representative getting the VOICE of the students heard in meetings, debates and presentations with the college, local charities and community groups.

I have presented training videos in Oral Health Education whilst studying and working as a Dental Nurse at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester and given presentations in Oral Health to the general public in a wide variety of dental health settings.

I am a published author and have written two short stories for children and have visited local schools to read to the children and answer questions. My Titles are Alex and the Archangel and Alex and the Bully published by Athena Press 2006.
