My Voice Experience

After years of continual harassment by friends, strangers and a specific co-worker who in his former life casted VO talent I finally gave in and decided to utilize the amazing talent that I have. After consulting with Joe LaRossa, my then co-worker and his contacts at BBDO among the many Ad Agencies he worked with we decided that I should meet with Marla Kirban to assess my potential.

Working with Marla allowed me to harness my unbridled enthusiasm and direct it when appropriate into the copy that I was reading. Marla was merciless in my training and along with Bruce Kronenberg, David Lyerly, and Bryant Falk I learned how to personalize and shape my voice to the copy that I was given. The result was a great demo which is on my profile. Unfortunately I broke my ankle in three places (talus, cuboid, and navicular bones) while snowboarding at Snowbird in Utah which sidelined me for almost 9 months as I rehabbed my ankle. Now fully healed (5 titanium screws) and completely mobile I am roaming NYC in pursuit of work.
