Sexy, serious, matter of fact, girl next door
I have been told I have a sexy voice without trying to sound sexy. I have many voice variations when communicating. I have a quirky excitability to my voice at times. Whatever I'm feeling in the moment comes through in my voice. I can use many tones of voice from monotone, excited, happy, sexy, high pitched, fast paced, loving, comforting, motherly, raspy low tone, really good narrative voice, monotone robot-like computer voice, high energy excited advertising voice. I'm not a singer but can use my voice in a melodic rhythmic tone(s). I have the imagination to create a character voice.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
I was born and raised in Los Angeles California so I don't really have an accent I speak very clear English, however I can speak with a British dialect. I have good Spanish pronunciation as well. I can also impersonate Marilyn Monroe and Mae West.
My Voice Experience
To date I have done one radio spot for Quinton Resedential Living which was a new hire advertisement commercial. I hope to get many more VoiceOver jobs soon.
I have completed workshops at The Voice Caster in Burbank California and also at Kalmenson and Kalmenson in Burbank California as well as Such A Voice located in Vermont. I have received lots of praise and encouragement from my professional voice over instructors. I continue to study voice over through formal training. I have taken drama classes both in High School and as an adult. I worked as a background actor and I am a former SAG member.
My Studio Equipment
I have access to a local recording studio called The Jungle Room in Burbank CA. Currently I have a home studio which consists of a Port-A-Booth and Professional Scarlett Studio CM25 mic with a pop filter and Focusrite monitor. I also use Audacity recording program enabling me to upload MP3 files.
I have worked as a Corporate Trainer. I also taught CPR/FA classes as well as Crisis Intervention training. I feel this is relevant because In my classes I would use my voice to convey seriousness, urgency, as well as having light comedic moments and laughter to take the serious edge off training. I taught Para Verbal Communication which consists of the components
Tone, Volume, and Cadence. Para Verbal Communication is "How we say what we say" excluding the actual words that are used. What tone is used? (I.e., happy, excited, sad, frustrated), what volume is used? ( is the volume appropriate for the situation and distance?) Cadence? Is there an even flow and rhythm to the voice? I have 5 years experience in teaching CPI or Crisis Prevention Intervention which Para Verbal Communication is a module of and I feel this has helped me to become much more effective with using my voice to convey information to an audience.
