Voice Description

Calm, relaxing voice over with a natural authority. A very experienced presentation voice, good for narration and storytelling. I have a very good understanding of medical, scientific and technical language and pronunciation, and am able to make sense of complex scripts. My voice works well for teaching programmes or language courses, it is clear and explanatory without being patronising. I can move my accent from relaxed everyday English through to professional 'BBC' English (particularly good for presentations or radio voices) and I can do various English character voices.

My Voice Experience

Radio announcer - BBC World Service. TV announcer - BBC 1. Trailers and promotions for UK television. Voiceover for all the major pharmaceutical companies' training programs, and a big selection of the other top UK companies. Good narrator and story teller.

My Training

I started at the bottom doing my own primetime tv show and worked up to singing in bars. Look, what's the point of talking about things you did when training if you have many years' actual frontline experience under your belt since then? OK if you insist, I trained at the BBC.

AKG and Neumann microphones, Focusrite preamps, TC Electronic DA and digital limiting, Protools on mac, Harbeth monitoring.
