I am blessed with a very professional voice with various ranges. Even though I am not a professional or amateur singer, I can adjust the tone and tempo (cartoon, sexy, ghetto-fabulous)based on my audience. I am often complimented on my voice (esp. voicemail messages)Recently, I was encouraged by a colleague (video production mgr) to explore a career in voiceover work or as a 900 phone sex operator. In addition to this, my friends and colleagues use the word "contagious" to describe my laugh!

My Voice Experience

My current position is Analyst, Quality 1991Present
Assurance and Training for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. I also conduct webinars using a webcam for various countries /ports on RCCL products and services.This year alone (2007) I have successfully completed live presentaions for thousands of people from places like Amsterdam, Anchorage, Wichita, Miami/FLL, Eugene,Rome, Oslo,UK, Singapore,Copenhagen, Stockholm and Venice (worldwide).

1986-1991 Eastern Airlines, Departure Service and Special Services Agent. I was responsible for making boarding announcements in the departure terminal/gates and arrival announcements prior to passengers deplaning at the arrival gate. In addition to general airport announcements when needed.

My Training

Being a professional trainer and speaker I have taken various public-speaking courses.
Currently, I am creating a training video (captivate) with voiceover for instruction to be used for my worldwide students.

When I was younger (13yrs)I attended Gayle Carson School of Charm & Modeling, where I took speech lessons in addition to runway modeling courses. I continued my training as a fashion model at John Robert Powers. Both schools where located in Coral Gables, Fl.

Additional Skills

I have experience as Mistress of Ceremony for a number of Weddings (friends) and Fashion Shows. I am also a United Way Ambassdor/Volunteer where my last project involved reading bedtime stories to kids in the Homeless Shelter/Salvation Army (Miami). As a member of my Church (Sweethome Missionary Baptist Church) I am a member of the Lay Readers Committee. This position involves getting the Congregation to follow along with the Responsive Reading and reading the Church announcements.
