Voice Description
I have a wide range from wry and comical, to bright and homey; from strong and sympathetic, to warm and sexy. I also have a seamless stream of accents and dialects from around the world, and across the country. As a trained actress, I'll infuse your scripts with a genuine honesty that speaks directly to your clients, and the personas I create are characters, not charicatures.

My Training
I studied Theatre at the University of Kansas, with extensive phonetic and dialect work. I studied Broadcasting at the Columbia School of Broadcasting, in Washington D.C. In Los Angeles I've had commercial voice-over training for the last two years with Bill Holmes, and am currently in Bob Bergen's voice-over animation workshop.
My Studio Equipment
I have my own setup at home for recording auditions and smaller projects, and for that I work on Protools and have an MBOX with a Studio Projects C1 condenser mic. However, I have access to a full studio with broadcast quality mics as well as Protools and Dalet. At the studio we can also do ISDN & Phone Patch (though the client must call in) and the cost for the studio with an engineer is only $150 per hour (as opposed to many surrounding studios at upwards of $400 per hour). If a phone patch isn't necessary, I can record and edit my own tracks and send them as mp3s or .wavs via email or ftp.
Additional Skills
Because of my extensive training and background both in commercial voice over and in radio production, I am able to turn projects around very quickly. I take directions very well and can manipulate my voice on demand with ease, thus saving the client valuable time and money. Also, because of my acting background, I can breathe life and energy into a project, allowing me to connect with your audience in a personal and meaningful way that will keep them listening.
