Voice Description
Although my voice is fairly standard, early in life I realized that I am able to mimic many voices and accents that I've listened to. British (all types), Australian, Irish, Scottish, African, Spanish, Middle Eastern, Russian, German, Italian, and etc. If I hear it for just a short period, I can make it my own. And even though it is a somewhat insulting in this day and age, whenever I've met in person others that I've spoken with over the telephone, it's always a surprise that I'm an African American. I can be "grandfatherly warm," "fatherly stern," mechanical or as dispassionate as any documentary/business film narrator. Various North American accents are also at my disposal.
