It can also be urban and cool for a more down to earth, guy down-the-block feel. For witty or funny spots it can drop years and be excitable and fun with a higher range. My Voice Experience

I recently completed my voice-over coaching with VO artist Peter Rofe in New York City. I am reading for casting directors and agents, such as Don Case of Don Case casting and Ed Batchelor of Paradigm Talent Agency, and moving forward with my career.

My Training

I have on stage theatre experience in both high-school and college. I majored in journalism and literature at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and also at Kingsborough College in New York City. Since being in New York I have trained with voice-over artist and coach Peter Rofe, of PDR Voice Coaching, which resulted in the production of my one minute commercial reel. I cut my vocal chops in both workshops and one-on-one sessions for several months. I attended the New York Film Academy studying film production and acting, producing two short films in the interim.

My Studio Equipment

I have my own equipment in a personal studio. My mic is a Audi Technica AT4040 run through a Digi Design MBox Mini 2. My audio software is Pro Tools 8 run on a MacBook Pro.

Additional Skills

Working for the national magazine FamilyFun as an editorial intern, I worked under the marketing department writing advertising blurbs. Through this I gained a great deal of insight to the nature of commercial copy.

I am employed as a Production Assistant in commercial production in New York City. I have spent more than three years aiding in the production of commercials for companies such as Verizon, McDonald's, General Mills, Chevy and TimeWarner. Working on the set; dealing with agency, clients, talent, and creatives; I have garnered a unique understanding of what it takes to create a commercial spot.
