Voice Description

I'm a Midwestern boy born and raised which many consider the purest dialect. I come from a news background with a voice that's been trained to fit any material. Soft, deep and smooth for serious, somber and/or comforting pieces; forceful, energetic and raspy for intense and suspenseful feels; laid back, fun and down to earth for your guy next door feel. My voice can send chills down your spine or calm your every fear.
I don't fully know the boundaries of my voice yet making me willing to take on any challenge. My voice is very believable and I can imitate just about any dialect specializing in the Norwegian drawl found in the Wisconsin, Minnesota and Canadian areas, city specific accents of Chicago, New York and Boston, as well as sound like I belong in any of the US's wonderful southern states.
My voice is very animated and sounds most natural in fun, comical and light hearted projects. I can imitate any voice I hear such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bill Clinton, Christopher Walken, Jack Ching Bada Bing "Jackalope", Sylvester Stallone and even Donald Duck.

My Voice Experience

I'm an award winning television news journalist with about 3 years experience working in news, local television and entertainment world as a news reporter, play by play announcer and traveling D.J.
For a year and a half I voiced over nightly news packages for the NBC affiliate in Eau Claire, WI winning Wisconsin Broadcasters Awards for Best News Story and Best Live News Report.
I voiced and was the talent in a 15 minute Documentary on Sexual Predators in La Crosse County, WI for which the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association gave me an award for Best Student Documentary.
I've voiced over informational videos for the Coulee Region Humane Society Telethons in which I conveyed the heart warming emotional and physical healing powers associated with using pet's as therapy in nursing homes.
I'm still just getting starting in the voice over world but I'm looking now to get away from News and move more into entertainment.
