It can vary between low mid-range to a high, squeaky pitch.

As a singer and owner of an advertising production studio, I have had the privilege of working with, and recording voice overs for some of the largest international brands worldwide.
My list of credits include, but are not limited to:

•McDonalds radio jingle: Christmas 2007 Burger Campaign Winner (St. Thomas, USVI) Gold Addy award - Best Radio, Gold Addy Award - Best In show, Judges Choice Award.
Regional - Gold Addy award. Florida & surrounding areas - Silver Addy Award. (I directed, produced and sang the winning jingle)
Several other McDonalds radio spots between 2005 - present, including character and announcer roles.

•Corporate local & regional Radio, Television & On-hold Voice, 2001 - present: Cable & Wireless Telecommunications Ltd.

•Virgin Atlantic Airways: Radio & TV voice for specials and corporate sponsored events.
Also won two silver Addy Awards for radio spots which I produced.

•Heineken Beer between 2002 - present: Several radio campaigns for special events

•The United Nations 2007: Regional jingle campaign (thirteen countries) for world food day.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Professional musician. Former member of groups:
Lead singer and guitarist for “The Heard”
Lead singer, guitarist and manager for: “Wired”, and “DV8”- which had two singles on local airwaves, and performed for audiences of thousands at various events throughout the island, as well as “The Phil and Toby Band” and, “Roadhouse”, which performed at the annual Bequia Music Festival 2005, 2006, 2009

Where he worked with clients such as: Coca-Cola, Heineken, Cable & Wireless, Ford, The Barbados Tourism Authority and The National Cultural Foundation, among many others.


October 2001 – Present day

Founded Crucial Productions Inc. recording studio & audio production Facility.
Specializing in jingle production, commercial production, corporate narration,
promos, infomercials, on hold systems, music recording & production, Internet audio, radio imaging, documentaries, casting services among many others. Phil designed the facility’s rooms and designed and wired Crucial Productions’ fully integrated digital non-linear recording system.
Crucial has recently bought Longbow Communications Inc., now a division of Crucial, which handles video and television production.


March 2002 – November 2003

Joined the team of Mix 96.9 FM as Phil “The Thrill” Archer - radio deejay and on air personality.
He has worked the mid-day and prime time shifts, as well as having hosting popular shows every Wednesday night from 7 to 10 P.M. “The Boatyard Hip Hop Trip” and every Friday night at 7, “The Banks Friday night Dance Party”.

As Host and Emcee, hosted numerous events and promotions. Some of these include the popular ”Yardfest Events” held at the Boatyard nightclub, the first and second annual “Spring Break Lime” music festival, the second of which was filmed by MTV’s College Television Network where he was featured in one of the segments.
More recently he was the host for the Heineken Green Synergy competition, which aired on CBC TV 8, as well as the inaugural Heineken Music Festival 2007.
