Voice Description

I was born in Sweden and my native language is Swedish. I speak capitol Swedish (Stockholm accent) but I can vary that depending on the assignment. I am also fluent in English, American or British English, with a tiny European accent.
My voice is more young female adult than adult/middle age. I can sound like a teenager and I often hear that I sound goofy. The tone of my voice works best when I sound sweet and kind or fun and girly. I can imagine my voice would be good for cartoon characters and female characters with a hint of Scandinavian influences.

My Voice Experience

I have worked as a TV reporter and on occasion as an actor for the Swedish Television, SVT, in Sweden. I have been acting in short independent films. I have performed as a singer, but not professionally, on special events such as baptisms and weddings.

My Training

I have taken voice and singing lessons.
I have done voice over work for the Swedish Television, worked on live television shows as an actor and reporter. I have also produced shows and directed actors for voice over work at the same company.
I have attended seminars and rhetoric classes at the University in Stockholm. I studied journalism in Sweden and I have worked with film and television since 1992.
