Voice Description

I can adapt my voice to many different situations. I've impersonated such voices ranging from Sean Connery to Bill Paxton. (What a range!)

When speaking naturally, my voice is deep, clear, and very understandable. I have done numerous public speaking events and see doing voice over work as a natural and obvious career choice.

My Voice Experience

My background has been primarily in Business and Marketing. I have written a great deal for ad agencies and marketing firms, yet to this point have done no on-air work...however, this is what my voice was meant for...guaranteed.

My Training

My education in Marketing at The University of Akron included courses mainly aimed at written work - more copy related. However, while interning with an ad agency one summer, I got an opportunity to do some small voice overs for local ads they were producing. I was told at the time to come back when I graduated, but alas.....no openings available when the time came.

I have a comfortable, relaxing, clear bass-level voice. I speak regularly in different areas, including Church and work. Any other training has been "on-the-job", and to adapt to a professional setting doing voice-overs would be a natural and greatly anticipated transition.
