Good Day:
This is Peter Trunk. I am a German journalist, TV-host/producer, Radio-host/producer, Voice over artist and certified linguist (translations). I have been in this profession since over 20 years. Recently I provided voice over work for companies such as APPLE MAC, IBM, NIKON, DELUXE DIGITAL, GENERAL DYNAMICS, SAMSUNG, E-ENTERTAINMENT, ADOBE and many more.
I can work out of my own state of the art recording studio, or go to a studio of your choice. I can deliver in any common format such as MP3, WAVE, etc. My turn around time is usually less than 24 hours.
I also provide English voice over work with a slight German accent.

1985 – 1997 Executive producer, producer and host of the daily TV-Show “The HOLLYWOOD REPORTER” on Europe’s biggest broadcaster RTL-TV. (In 1992 this show broke the all time record of the most watched TV-program in Germany with more than 1 Billion viewers annually.)

1999 Executive Producer/writer TV- Movie GONE TO MAUI (starring Pat Morita)

2000 – Current: Production and hosting of TV-Infomercials, e.g. THE AMAZING ROLL UP CAR COVER, Production, development and consulting of languange television programs for Chinese television (CETV) in Beijing/China.
Writing of “romantic comedy” screenplay (has been optioned).
In development: “romantic thriller” screenplay.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I speak English with a slight European/German accent. If you need "ARNOLD", I can deliver. Often I am hired to do commercials for technical products since people assimilate German accents with knowledge of technical matters (Mercedes, BMW). If needed, I can increase the level of that accent up to comedic levels.

I have done many voice overs for radio and TV-commercials in Europe and the US (APPLE COMPUTERS, GENERAL DYNAMICS). I also have done voice overs for industrial movies from Diamond Trading to Car related products. I also have experience in voice over dubbing of movie characters into other languages.

My Training

Formal education as journalist, radio announcer and television host. The training included acting lessons, phonetic lessons and voice training.

My Studio Equipment

I work for Radio and TV and work with a MAC G-5 with FCP HD. My voice recording is mainly done with Audacity, GOLDWAVE and PRO-TOOLS. I use different Microphones depending on need. I use a SHURE audio mixer.

Additional Skills

I am a certified linguist and do translations. If you also need translation into German, I can deliver. I am a Television Producer since 1985. I have produced (and hosted) TV shows like Paramounts ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT. I also have written and produced my own TV-Movies. Some of my work can be found at IMDB.
Besides flawless German and English, (German accent light, but can be strong if required) I also am in the process of learning Chinese Mandarin.
I have worked and lived in 35 different countries (and counting). Whenever I have a chance, I go sailing.
