Voice Description

I'm often told that my natural speaking voice is perfect for radio, with a rich baritone quality clearly enunciating what it is I'm saying. I'd have to say that it has a very warm and comfortable quality to it, the kind of voice that can lure people in and really keep them listening. From the standpoint of voice acting, I have a natural tendency to adapt to whatever role it is I'm provided with and can effectively provide any type of role with an amazing amount of depth and character - character roles are some of my all time favorites! I'm very expressive, with a number of different ages that I can represent, and enjoy both the joyful delivery of a great comic piece, while at the same time being able to deliver a wonderfully dramatic performance as well.

My Voice Experience

I could probably litter this list with the things that I've done in the past eleven years, but since most of the jobs I did were freelance, listing most of these jobs would be rather pointless (most of the contact information is useless at this point). So let's try and give an abbreviated history of what I've done. I started out as a stage actor in the Milwaukee area after doing an insane amount of acting during college. Suffice to say, I was in a number of venues around the MN area, as well as playing numerous roles in the Milwaukee scene. I'm trained in musical theatre and classical acting, so it comes as little surprise when I tell people that I had leads in: Macbeth, Company, Camelot, Rumors, Henry V, and more. I've been actively pursuing voice acting, however, as I find it to be a lot of fun and certainly more expressive than doing plays, which is why I've been doing podcasts for different websites such as: Portal, Deeko, the Jaded Gamer and more. It's a good time for me and I know my listeners appreciate it.

I'm an avid martial artist. Not really relevant, per se, but hey - I'm not the one reading this. Someone out there must be looking at that little fact, thinking "Wow, this guy has no idea what relevant really means!" to which I would say... well, I guess they'd be somewhat right. So, you want relevant skills...

I love to sing. Often. Even in public.

My voice is perfect for that "serious voice" in a "humerous situation". Pranks calls, perhaps?
