My Voice Experience
My experience comes from being interested in CB Radio and also Radio Ham which led me to join the RAF as a Radio Operator.
After my time in the RAF i got involved in tourism and became a tour guide on coach tours of the UK and Ireland.
Through all these jobs and interests i have used my voice as a tool to project information.
In 2010 I decided to formalise this and created a showreel with the help of Absolute TV Productions of Edinburgh.
Comments from the studio engineer were...'you take direction well'...'you have clearly prepared and read your scripts before coming into the studio'.
My Training
I have a liberal arts degree in Heritage and Tourism.
My career as a tour guide started in 1997.
My Studio Equipment
I have the ability to record on computer and disk.
Additional Skills
My time in the RAF allowed me to speak with accuracy and clarity over VHF radio systems.
As a tour guide dealing with multi national coach parties I have developed a style of commentary that requires me to adapt and work in real time.
