Voice Description

I am a professionally trained singer(BA in Music) and drummer who can sing styles from Opera to Heavy Metal.I can mimic and mock most male rock singers like Bon Jovi, Rob Thomas, Tom Petty, Springsteen, Pearl Jam etc. I can also mimic TV/Movie characters such as Edith Bunker, Rocky Balboa, Homer Simpson, Forrest Gump, Mike Dimone(Fast Times at Ridgemont High), Moe(The Simpsons), Krusty the Clown, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Marvin the Martian, Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Bert and Ernie, Rodney Dangerfield, Vinny Barbarino, Fat Bastard(Austin Powers),

In addition I can do accents as well; Spanish, English,Italian, Australian, Asian, Indian, Red Neck, Old Jewish man, homosexual male.

I have also come up with characters on my own based on people that I know.

VERY IMPORTANT!! I am able to mimic new voices on the spot. Something can be played for me for the first time and I can nail it, especially if it is weird.

I can sing and play drums at the same time as well!

My Voice Experience

It was a very exciting Summer of 2006. Many of my song parodies were played on The Howard Stern Show! Check out some of the demos. In addition, I have done some intros for english speaking radio in Europe .

I have a BA in music from SUNY Oneonta. I have opera, rock and broadway style voice training.
I graduated in 1992. I sang in lots of bands and would always do voices from TV shows and movies or make fun of the singers of the bands we were covering.

Music has given me the experience to emcee in front of crowds from as small as 10 to as big as 12,000 (my band used to play at the NY Islander games at the Nassau Coliseum and all the major venues on Long Island and NYC.

I always had a warped sense of humor, and with that came the ability to mimic people. the first was my mom. I was able to mimic her so well, I could fool my father on the phone ALL the times I tried. I even fooled school officials when they would call the house to find out why I was absent.

My Training

Degree: BA Music 1992 SUNY Oneonta.

Training: My training is 20 years on stage singing, announcing and keeping people entertained. I have also spent years in recording studios making CDs of my music and most recently, my voice talents.

Influences:
My father worked in advertising his whole life. He used to write live copy for the Captain Kangaroo show. The products were always kids' cereals. Trix, Kix and Cheerios were the big ones.
Because of that influence and paying attention, I was able to pick up the way commercials were made and the tone of the annoucers' voices and the format of how the product was presented.

Additional Skills

My biggest skill/asset would be my sense of humor. I can switch from the most adult of jokes to the most tasteful of jokes. I can adapt to whatever the situation calls for.

I can play percussion and guitar as well.
