My Voice Experience

I have provided VO for many years on a non-professional basis for documentaries, promos, demos, etc. In the last year I have been producing professional video podcasts for a large educational publisher. I offered to cast the VO for my client but they continually prefer my voice to the professional auditions I've sent them. I've had several people in the industry encourage me to do more VO work.

My Training

I have a BA in Arts Adminstration but my 25+ year career has been in film and video production. I worked for Disney Studios for 13 years, Microsoft for 4 years and several digital media ventures in between. My extensive experience as a video producer who has cast, written and directed countless VO sessions lends substantially to the quality of own VO work. I understand what producers are looking for and how to deliver it quickly.

My Studio Equipment

Living in the Bay Area, I have access to several professional narration recording facilities with the most current recording and editing equipment. These are facilities I have used for my own video work.

I have also recorded extensively at home using a stand-alone professional microphone and my MacBook Pro. I use a variety of software tools depending on the nature of the project and the desired output format. This combination results in my ability to deliver fully edited, mixed, professional tracks.
