Voice Description
My voice comes across beautifully in a straight, warm, sincere read; no pipes, no gimickry; it's a very "hip",
(but not intimidating) voice of authority. I am also very strong with accents (dialects). My foreign accents are exceptional and I can make them very believable or full of fun. I also can work with you to develop characters. I am capable of many impressions and a few are available for preview among my online demos.

My Voice Experience
This ability was in me from childhood. I would regularly play pretend using a spoon, etc. as a microphone. I grew up with the "old school" TV and radio announcers like Don Wilson, Ralph Paul, Don Russell, George Fenneman and Don Pardo. I refer to William B. Williams as my mentor. In 1974, I took the course in radio broadcasting at Connecticut School of Broadcasting. Immediately following, I took a part-time job at the local radio station where I was an air personality for over 12 years. As for sound production, I came from analogue (cart machines and tape cutting) to digital (I am an advanced operator of Sound Forge editing software). Over the years I have produced many commercials and PSA's... from concept to final tape.
My Training
A speech class in high school plus two years of German.
Photography and photofinishing my mainstay before military.
Instructor, maintenance and repair of weapons systems on helicopters in US Army. Exceptional instructor accreditation.
R & D lab tech at CBS Labs, Electronic Video Recording (worked for Peter Goldmark, inventor of the LP record and the first color television).
Graduate of Connecticut School of Broadcasting.
Radio career began in 1974 as weekend air personality at WSTC (worked for Don Russell, announcer for The Jackie Gleason Show and NY news radio program "Monitor").
Played the part of "Phil", the robot voice opposite Peter Thomas in an American Airlines presentation to run
for 26 weeks at Disneyland.
Completed acting course under Mike Douglas at the Sterling Barn Theater.
Main living again made in photography and photo-sciences; made transition from analogue to digital.
Became a store-keeper in 1983, purveyor of fine wines, spirits and beers. Am very knowledgeable in adult beverage.
Became a regular voice-over talent for Charter Media under production manager, Brendon Rourke in Newtown, CT.
Co produced and starred in 102 half hour episodes of "The Freedom Alternative" aired weekly over all
nine cable areas in Connecticut.
Had major part in large scale church play for three consecutive years, played the part of the Centurion who supervised the crucifiction of Jesus.
My Studio Equipment

Recorder - Fostex FR2 LE
Software - Sound Forge 8

Additional Skills
My photography career as well as my retail (storekeeper) career have vastly broadened my understandings and my capabilities. I know a great deal about photography, art and music. I am also very knowledgeable in fine wines, beers and spirits. Also, I have learned much about cooking, nutrition, vitamins & supplements, mainstream medicine and alternative medicine. This broad range of interests and knowledge enables me to speak with a sense of authority and confidence that the listener discerns.
