I was performing Dracula in Ohio and part of the deal was to tape show promos for WNXT, the X 99.3. I went to the station, recorded the promos, and after I couldn't stop thinking about how fantastic the whole experience was. That was when I said, this is what I want to do. It didn't hurt when people came up and said, 'You're the guy on the radio!'
I started training with the great Chuck McKibbon. He cemented my talent and love of the biz into place. And to this day I get in front of the mic and say to myself, this is great.
