My Voice Experience

Biography

His passion for commercials dates back a long time. It started when in Holland a number of radio stations were active broadcasting from the North sea. He quickly realized what he wanted…. After being involved in setting up several radio stations he met Jerney Kaagman in 1992. She hired him as presenter / producer at the very first commercial radio station in The Netherlands; Radio Noordzee Nationaal. After this follow “De Gouwe Ouwe Zender” (now Veronica) and 3FM. Working at TMF he was asked to become station voice of TV10. the latter found that he did a wonderfull job, because after TV10 was sold to FOX he continued to work there as station voice. He also did occasional work for FOXKIDS. After several years of collaboration with manager Ruud van der Heijden he started doing promo’s for Nckelodeon (MTV) and later on Canal+. He also worked at ID & T radio for 3 years a commercial voice of that radio station. ID & T changed its name into SLAM FM and was finally sold which ended his work there. Multi- / cross media continued to interest Peter. At present he does a lot of work for companies as UPC and Chello where he is active in Video on Demand teasers and promotional activities such as movie- , video clips and radio programs. He is also the voice-over in many UPC infomercials. You can hear him as well every day on TV station RNN7 in the show gallery. And last but not least he is at present the voice-over of the very popular radio station FRESH FM.

It was a good move to switch career in 1992 from radio station builder to voice over / voice actor. Because if you don’t know him, for sure you have heard his voice on numerous occasions. Since he actively started doing the above he has done thousands of Commercials, Infomercials, texting Animations, Live Presentations / announcements on radio and tv or for a live audience, fairs and company presentations, Incentives, Events, DVD Productions, VOD, IVR, IP TV, 0800 / 0900 service numbers, 3D Games, Film Trailers, Game Trailers, CD spots, Jingles & RTV Promo's.

Peter de Gee is also involved in developing new talent by offering “voice coaching” and voice workshops for business.

My Training

Voice-Over coach in Holland and Workshops

We have developed especially for people that have to use their voice in public a special workshop called `communicate better`. For which individual could this be interesting? For example managers, members of the board of directors, press officers, flight attendants, telemarketers, presenters and so fourth. In a group but with personal attention you will be taught how to optimally use your voice.

The duration is 1 day and starts at 09.30 am. to 16.00 pm. The group will consist of maximum 10 people and includes DVD back up material a DVD recording of the rehearsed presentations which will be mailed to you within 5 days after completing the workshop.
