Voice Description

Hello, my name is Pete and I feel that I'm very, very versatile with my voice. It's naturally very, very deep but I can also alter the tone of my voice as well if I wish.A lot of people tell me that I sound like Darth Vader/James Earl Jones and just like the announcer in the a series called Mortal Kombat.

I can do various voices from cartoons, certain animal sounds like a dog, mouse, cow, celebrities like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Steve Erwin and Stalone for example.

I can also so various creature sounds and voices of my own.

Monster voices, higher voices, lower voices, older voices.I can also do kids voices, a female voice or younger girl voice to be exact.A younger boy voice, old man voice, or a different guy in general type of voice compared to my own.

From the cartoons, I can do many impressions from the following shows:Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Pokemon, TMNT, Tranformers:Cybertron(the newer ones). From Beast Wars and Beast Machines I can impersonate Megatron, Tarantulas, Dinobot, Rhinox, Quikstrike, Inferno, Waspinator, Obsedian, Thrust, Tankor.

From Pokemon I can impersonate Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Charmander, Charmeleon, Onyx and Bulbasaur.

From other shows for children, I can impersonate Barney the purple Dinosaur well. His voice.

I can also do some accents and dialects.I can do an Indian accent, Spanish/Latino, Chinese accent, Australian accent, cocky british/european(sounds similar to Simon from Diehward 3).For dialects and other accents, I can do a southern accent or a voice with a southern draw to it, I can impersonate a voice that sounds african american, surfer or stoner.

Now I can also do some impressions from the video game world.I can impersonate Mario, Yoshi, Luigi, Bowser from the Mario games. From the game Mortal Kombat, I can impersonate the announcer voice, the evil laugh from those games and a character named Scopion. He says "Get over Here" in the game when you play as him.I can impersonate him as well.I can also impersonate another character called Shao Kahn from Mortal Kombat.Of course the pokemon games also with the same voices I listed above.

From animated movies, I can impersonate Stitch also from lilo and Stitch.

For the newer voices of mine, Yoda, Emperor from Star Wars.

For the animals I can impersonate are the following.I can impersonate a Cow mooing, mouse squeaking, Dog Barking, Reptile like hsssssss.

Now, for my own voices I can do many.Variations of some of the voices listed above, my voice simply altered to be much higher, and lower.Possessed voice, reptilian like voice, my voice in the accents listed above plus those in my alternate voices.I can impersonate an oldman voice, younger girl, younger boy, a guy that sounds high, machine sounds like a dentist drill, moving sounds a little bit.Robotic voice higher pitched, evil, dark voice similar to my own voice.

I also enjoy grunts, moans that sound authentic.

In my spare time, I enjoy making voiceover tapes overlapping all of my voices(not all at once) but say a few then I'll act it out.I'll write out the script ahead of time myself, then act on the roles.Everyone that listens to it tells me it's sounds authentic as if two a couple of people really are talking or fighting for real over an audio sound bit.I do this a lot.

My Voice Experience

My experience consists of high school drama and english class, performing for a script based off of the series Mortal Kombat.(Online recently I did this one) this was for fun and definitely a learning experience for me.

In high school, I the roles that I performed whether they were from books or something we had to make up our selves I did well in.Afterwards, we had a voting system for best actor and part played out and I won this award. The award was for playing your part the best and most authentic.I played a foreigner in this class, I had to make up an accent for the role.I believe I mixed my indian accent with another at the time for that role.

The role that I played recently for this online script was lots of fun and the guy in charge of it from this particular forum told me that I was the best voice actor there.I had to perform 4 different voices for this script.I saved my lines on my computer as a wave file, then sent it to him via email.

I have not yet attempted to market my voice before now, the past few years until now several people in show business in general have told me I have talent and to find an agent to market myself from independant actors, radio hosts, several DJ's to singing trainers who also strongly recommended me to approach voiceovers.

I also have a huge passion for voiceovers, voice acting and I feel I can do it.

I make homemade comic tapes, some serious tapes as well inspired by commercials, movie voiceovers and cartoons. This I do alone, I write the script, practice it, perform it, then perform it while record it at the same time.

My Training

As far as training is concerned there's a few things that have helped me out.

In high school, my drama teachers gave me good tips. One of them used to do voiceovers way back. They told me that they felt I had great talent and to always read properly, have some strong emotion in the roles I'm playing to the best I can. They also gave me some tips of performing arts in general.

I've read and listened to some previous seminars online via computer and learned the basics like reading understandably, perform with emotion, being versatile to help yourself out by doing various voices.

I have also have lots of tips from radio people, DJ's, singers, and independant actors.

Additional Skills

I feel I have what it takes to book a job, many jobs for voiceovers and voice acting also.

I often make my own voiceover tapes based off of my own scripts which are all inspired by television, cartoons, commercials and movie voiceovers.

I feel that everything I wrote about myself above in should be highly considered.I feel I can do a lot of different voices besides speaking in my own natural deep voice.I can do many cartoon voices, many self created voices, I've performed online for scripts, in high school, drama and english courses for school and my own homemade tapes that have just about all of my voices on them at some point or another that I have listed on here.

I'm a great speaker, I feel I have a great voice that's very versatile and I feel I have what it takes to get into voiceovers and voice acting.Thank you.
