Voice Description

My phone voice is clear, assertive, welcoming, natural and concise. My TV and Radio commericial voice is motivational, exciting, charming, crisp, clean and inspirational. I have a cheerful, warm, affectionate positive and compelling speaking voice in all media venues, that, more often times than not tends to mesmerize listeners creating a desire to learn more, listen more, seek more, and basically come back 'to me' for more. My voice has range for all media recording opportunities. My voice has range from 'child' thru 'senior' and is natually feminine, yet assertive and mysterious. I speak naturally free of any geographic accent, although I have great ability to speak with a deep southern accent such as that in Memphis, TN. I also am able to speak with a Brittish/English accent and I can do Asian/English accent on demand. My teaching/lecturing/reading voice is pleasing and likable, charming and calming, yet with an upbeat tone creating inspiration and motivation within the heart, mind and soul of the listener. Men and women both tend to enjoy my voice and find me entertaining and interesting, kind, considerate and loving, warm and open. And I can bark like a dog as well as Cry like the cowardly lion from the Wizard of OZ. I am also able to speak deeply in a powerfully fierce even pitched intense, pensive, masculine tone.

My Voice Experience

I enjoying communicating, teaching and speaking. Since 1993 I have enjoyed performing TV and Radio commercials, as well as occasionally reading traffic and weather reports. I have conducted live radio performances as well as occasionally lecture publically at seminars on romance, relationship and medical issues. My career for the past 20 years has been focused on drawing listeners attention using my speaking voice centering around the entertainment/interpersonal counseling/medical industry and virtually 90% of all repeat business is due to my ability to attract via my telephone and taped speaking voice. Someone recently said to me, I am in love with your voice. Interesting! I had no idea. . .:)

My Training

Throughout my life I have enjoyed speaking, singing, acting and especially excelling at verbal and written communications of just about every type and in nearly every industry. Since 1969 I have been involved with ongoing speech and voice lessons, as well as professional modeling, acting and singing lessons up thru 1991. At all levels of my education; elementary, highschool and college, I performed stage acting. I attended many SAG conducted workshops and seminars conducted between 1988 and 1991. I am a freelance creative writer and poet, and currently write a monthly column entitled: "The Daija View."
