I studied drama and theatre at secondary school in England for four years. I am currently involved in community theatre and play oboe in a community concert band. I worked in an office for 11 years as a customer service rep and dealt directly with the public. This was valuable experience, learning to speak clearly and precisely. My company would sometimes use me to record the voicemail message which changed on a weekly basis. I then became a teaching assistmant in an elementary school and delighted in creating character voices to bring stories to life as the children sat wide eyed on the story carpet.
