Voice Description

I have a low to mid range voice that can handle both normal and afflicted changes such as speech impediments. My main language is midwestern style english and have some experience with Spanish and German. I feel my best voice would be featured in a video game or cartoon character as a bellicose person with a speech impediment (cleft palette).

My Voice Experience

I attended radio broadcasting school during the 1970's and I recorded different characterizations for radio spots (the 70's dj, british announcers), mostly very silly spots for commercials. I would get together once a week with my classmates and we would imitate people we met and also imitate each other. Brown institute (Radio/Television school) for 1st class FCC license. Bryant Jr High school - Drama class

My Training

Brown institute - radio training for commercials. Learned words you cannot use on TV/Radio (7 I believe) Studied spoonerisms, most common situations to beware of flubs. I learned of voice overs when playing video games and noted that there is quite alot of talent out there. My favorite is Tara Strong.

Additional Skills

I have been a school custodian for a Spanish immersion school for the last 4 1/2 years and have friends that perform in the Theater arts. I perform magic and realize the importance of "The patter" to many situations involving presentation. I have been told repeatedly that I should consider a voice over career.
