· On-air experience in all shifts including morning, afternoon drive and evening voice tracking on 104.5 CFML

My Studio Equipment

I am currently running Cool Edit Pro and Cubase SX 4 Digital Audio Platforms in my studio along with two Audio Technica 4050 Condenser microphones. As well I have a Mackie 16VLZ and a tonne of outboard compressors and effects processors...midi libraries and effects by the thousands. Korg piano, Fender twin and bass, four guitars, and plenty of percussion instruments from around the world. I am experienced working in a fast paced newsroom environment. During my two years working for Newstalk 1010 CFRB, I developed my skills as a producer. I gained extensive experience with technical operations, managing logs, post-production and recording live interviews for the station. I was responsible for researching discussion topics and top news stories, in addition to the music direction and production for John Donabie’s Morning Show. Working in the Toronto market with the hosts and producers for CFRB was an incredible educational experience; it was a privilege to be trained by some of today’s top Canadian broadcasters and production staff.

Additional Skills

I have been a musician for the last 15 years studying classical guitar, piano, singing, composing and recording in my own home studio. Currently I am running cubase sx at home and own several outboard gear for production purposes.
