Welcome! These are but 10 of the folks that live in my mouth. There are many, many more, but these 10 were pretty bored today, so they got the nod for the demo's.

FEATURING:

My "Grandpa" voice (Mortimer) has been described as "the calm, trusted, wise and warm voice of the old gentleman next door". It makes those that hear it WANT to listen to what it is saying, and TRUST what it is saying. Warm. Friendly. Assuring. And wise. Very conversational, yet deliberate.

My "Helen" voice is a mixture of Marge Simpson and Edith Bunker. VERY vulnerable and lovable. Someone you are completely at ease listening to and trusting.

Buck, the "Red-Neck Trucker" is a deep, drenched-in-the-South, straight-foreward, believable kinda guy. He's a great hard-sell guy, because you KNOW he knows exactly where he's at in the world.

And then, there's "South Philly Johnny", one of da guys dat hangs on the corner in "Sowt Philly". And Darnell, the kind of guy that REQUIRES attention.

My Voice Experience

I've done voice overs for RECORD LABELS, CHILDREN'S STORY BOOK CD's, MESSAGES ON HOLD, RADIO ID's, PRESIDENTIAL IMPRESSIONS FOR POLITICAL SATYR CD's, as well as 100's of SONG DEMO's that required impressions of MERLE HAGGARD, GEORGE JONES, WAYLON JENNINGS, and THE BEATLES.

My Training

Basically, I've "learned by doing". I've always had the knack for immitating other voices, both speaking and singing.

As a disc jockey on WNJC, I found it entertaining to create my own "on-air staff", making up voices that I used on air in que-ing records and doing commercials, one of which caused a traffic accident due to a driver laughing so hard.
