My Voice Experience

My first invitation to do voice overs came while I was working as a dj in Dubai in the 80s. I worked for an independant producer( Val Johnson) providing ads for fm 92. I advertised everything from "Uncle Bens" pure ola gee to Raymond Viel watches (and much in between) More recently I have done ads for Trax fm in Doncaster, with award winning producer Chris Dannatt.

I am a vocalist and have recorded several cds in my home studio.

I still work as a dj and vocal entertainer.

My Training

I have been trained and coached by proffessional radio producers who were very specific about what they needed for the product they were selling for their respective clients.
I respond well to direction, having also learned to work with directors in the theatre .
I have always been into local theatre and have done many character role on stage.I played Corenelius Hackle in Hello Dolly and was commended by the critics for my American accent.I have had many lead roles over the years with several companies playing a variety of characters from young romantic Johan Straus In Waltzes from Vienna to the old king, Styx in Orpheus.

Additional Skills

I am a natural mimic I copy and impersonate many cartoon characters and personalities.I also love creating new character voices.
I can improvise and am spontanious when asked for something different. I can usually come up with something to fit.

I also produce my own music in my home studio using a variety of programmes. Although I don't write music. I also teach many of these skills in my role as a life skills coach for adults with autism.
