My Voice Experience

I have 27 years in sales as an independent HVAC contractor in California. I do all the out side sales required to keep my crew of installers and technicians busy all year round. I have sold jobs to people even if I had a higher price because I was able to keep them listening to my "expert", "fatherly tone"

I have been told by so many of my new customers that "my voice mail introduction sounded so good, and so pleasant to listen to, that they called my number back just to listen to the intro all over again"!
When I return their calls, they often are so pleased to talk to the same guy that they heard on the voice mail message".

I have volunteered for students at SFSU for their student commercials.

I have recorded 6 Internet radio plays for "Shoestring Radio" in San Francisco.
My latest world broadcast play was "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" I had three parts in the play where I had to change my voice to match 3 different actors in the play. I was the doctor attending one of Mr. Hydes victims, a young girl who was assaulted. I was the soothing doctors voice that comforted the child after the attack and reported back with an authoritative response. The Butler receiving guests at the door for Dr. Jekyll's dinner party, and Inspector Newcomb from Scottland Yard, investigating the the death of one of Mr. Hyde's victims. I put on a Scottish accent, and made the character sound very professional and intelligent.
My parts were small but helped draw the listener in to the story with these important characters.
The radio play got very high reviews.

The next radio play I was in is called "Who killed Harry Parks" where I played a rival of Harry Park and a suspect in his murder investigation. This play was a "Twilight Zone" type that kept the listener guessing all the way through to the end of the play.

The latest radio play I performed in was a comedy called "Olfactory Rejects" I was one of the callers calling into a live "on the air" Atlanta radio show that is going awry while interviewing a perfume mogil. My part was being a "doctor in Atlanta, Georgia". I put on a southern accent and called the talk show host to tell her about her medical condition while live on the air... the other callers added to the hosts embarrassments.
