My Voice Experience

Twenty years as a voice over talent, I taught my own Classes in Voice over in Orange County (Voices R' Us Workshops) in 3 studios, I taught dialects, pacing, effective character development, proper mic usage, all kinds of delivery like selling i.e. hard sell, soft sell, multiple styles of voice delivery, (Men-Women or Father-Mother-child combinations)...I've have been out on alot of auditions and I've got a lot more in me!

I have 8 yrs in professional radio, announcing as an on Air Personality in Radio doing all kinds of in house productions, announcing, commercials, narrations and PSA's.

producing and coaching future vo people for all kinds of copy delivery. I was the President of "Voices R' Us Productions" in OC producing Music on Hold productions for businesses through out area for about 12 years. I managed about 8 people in this company conducting the productions and finding new clients and coordinating new production needs the making of the music on hold production and getting voice casting to put it together for the projects. I made sure the information and music was what the client wanted before we went into production for the final product.

My Training

My voice over training started with the late Tom Clay in his work-shop called the "Tom Clay Voiceworks" in Los Angeles went into his intermediate classes and continued into his professional level classes for rehearsal and auditioning technique workshops on a weekly basis until his passing.

I got voice tutilage from Leigh Gilbert currently a Producer/Director in the industry for 40 yrs in her "Voice Works" classes at "Bob Lloyd The Voicecaster's Studio" into with training with her in all types of delivery and dialects.
Did many big name commercials spots for T.V. and Radio, such as Frito Lay, Mattel, Hunts Catsup, Huntington Beach Dodge (radio/music on hold productions), Coffe-Mate, McKenna Volkswagen, Southern County Volkswagon, Del Monte, Faberge', and Industrial readings.

Prodessional Producer/studio owner Les Biegel - "On Cue Studios" conducted many workshops there with about 7 students practiced all types of commercials with male and female, accents, dialects, all ages, and delivery with live copy.

Conducted my own classes at places in OC "Creative Media" in Garden Grove with Tim Keenan Owner/Master Producer allowing me to work on some commercials and conduct my classes in his facility there.

My Studio Equipment

Tascam Studio quality board I am able to burn my own CD's and deliver them to you, built in sound beds, sound effects, cassette and hi speed dubbing also, mic stands, Shure mics, etc.

Additional Skills

I am very easy to work with, I take direction and instruction well, have a lot of patience, even if it takes 35 takes to reach the delivery you're looking for. I've worked from behind the board as I said previously teaching others so I know that patience is needed, I stay upbeat so it does not effect my voice delivery or waste your studio time, I stay in character very well, my goal has always been stay in character and focus focus focus on the copy! From the minute I enter your studio I will be ready to work, to take your input, and to give my imput in a polite way if allowed, to promote your product it's best possible way.
