My Voice Experience
My story is that as a baby boomer born in 55 I was interested in emulating the talent that I viewed in the many hours of entertainment offered by the television. I lived in middle America and wasn't turned on to the thought of "making it" in this field at first, however, as life went on, I realized that I appealed to many personal audiences because I had become a descent performer at "what I do". I just think I could contribute to this field in a good way.
My Training
One thing I should mention is the exellent communication course I had with a Scientology group that made me comfortable with one on one and groups that proved to be quite valuable in my life.(When I lived In Atlanta).
In my 20's I was a (temp) proofreader for Florida law documents that proved to be helpful in long documentary causes. In my teens, I sang for a rock and roll band, however that fell short of great fame due to fellow members fear of commitment (union and fear of gigs above high school level. I thought we were good. I moved on.
I ultimately became a "funny, but serious person who is dedicated to a good work ethic that gets the job done.

Additional Skills
I think it stayed in the back of my mind that I could do acting or voiceover work. I fed that passion in everyday life. My audiences were: fellow workers and customers in, Newspaper management, factory, sales, delivery, anything that exposed me to a new and different "world".
I have a brother that "fell" into the business of broadcast. He is the entertainment reporter for a local station here in Cleveland. My passion was to become a DJ and he told me that they don't get paid enough. I let him discourage me! I don't wish to be discouraged again. I want to do what I know I have become adept to.
