My Voice Experience

I am a story teller, have performed in small venues and have entertained friends and colleagues for decades. I have been a paid (and unpaid) clown, have been a reader in numerous venues, mostly charities and have been praised in one way or another for my vice and delivery all my life. I have been asked if I did voice over many times and told to try it.

That said, let me be up front: I have not one single paid professional voice over experience. Ever. Nada. Zip. I'm 53 and a total beginner.

I have acted (in college) sang badly in numerous venues, been a reader, educator, negotiator, preacher, and performed as a clown, always featuring my voice as my primary instrument.

Additional Skills

I am calm, friendly, smart, low key, a tremendously fast reader, unusually well educated, funny, warm, reliable man. I had an adventurous youth, only becoming a white collar worker in my early forties. I have been around and you can hear it in my voice. I am told whenI speak, I can be "felt." I can probably learn and delver cold copy very fast, as I read so quickly that I can literally scan ahead without missing a beat. I have an unusually bad singing voice, useful perhaps for torturing prisoners or frightening livestock. I am quite capable of writing copy quickly and well, if needed. I have been reading to others for my entire life.
