Voice Description
I am an exciting, versatile voiceover performer who has that "classic" warm, deep, bass-baritone sound, but does not sound quite like anyone else. My voice is especially well-suited to financial institutions, pharmaceuticals, luxury goods and services, political spots, public service announcements, and narrations. I can also do high-energy, hard-sell spots.

Political spot, Matthew Grieco for Supreme Court (radio)
My path to voiceover, like my sound, is atypical. Having built a career in an apparently unrelated field, I come to voiceover because I had so much fun recording radio spots for a friend's political campaign and everyone thought I sounded great doing it. My friend lost the election, but I found a new career. I am a member of the talent pools of The Jewish Guild for the Blind's InTouch Networks, which produces podcasts and closed-circuit broadcasts of readings for the visually impaired of excerpts from newspapers and magazines, and Acoustiguide, which produces audio tours for museums and other cultural institutions.
What's my "old" career? I have been a practicing lawyer in New York City for twenty years, meaning I am used to meeting the exacting requirements of demanding clients (as well as colleagues and judges) day-in, day-out. I bring this ethic of devoted client service and sweating the details to my voiceover work.

Additional Skills
In addition to my voiceover and legal careers, I am an accomplished choral singer. I am the bass section leader of the City Bar Chorus, a group of legal professionals honored by a local cable news channel as "New Yorkers of the Week" for our performances at hospitals, nursing homes, and senior residences, bringing cheer to our fellow New Yorkers who need it most. I have also sung bass with the Big Apple Chorus (formally known as the Manhattan Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society), including two performances at Carnegie Hall.
