Voice Description
A natural mimic, if you have an idea for a "type" that you are going for, I can take that type and develop it into a rich, multifaceted character! No, my voice can't quite reach the silky, spine-tingling depths that Don LaFontaine regularly plumbed, but I can sure barrel out an enthusiastic, audience-rousing Rod Roddy style "Come On Down!"
I would love to work on your animation project! Need a sauve French frog, a chatty Carribean coconut crab, or dangerous Eastern European mongoose? I've got you covered... what else? You name it! Try me! I'll deliver! Having spent much of my youth in Arizona and New Mexico I feel quite comfortable offering authentic, respectful Native American and Latino voices (the tone of which I can dial up into a more comedic tone with ease!). I'm pretty white, but darned if I can't sound pretty dark like flipping a switch... need a tough inner city gang banger? That's me, homeboy. And then, just like that, I'm also the guy next door being frank with you about your next car purchase... you know, the guy with the voice you can trust because he's telling you from the heart that you really should be driving a Yugo. I really dont mean to offend, but I often find myseIf exploring outrageous Chinese character voices, flamboyant gay voices, and the voice of your Jewish grandparent in the comfort of my own home... if you'd like me to drag them out of the closet and aren't easily offended, I'm only too willing to oblige! I do female voices too... yep my voice can go way up there! I enjoy reading aloud and am happy to provide clear, concise narration of any printed word!

My Voice Experience
I want YOUR project to be my first! You'll have bragging rights when people wonder how Paul Baxendale got his start; trust me, you'll get alot of mileage out of that!
My Training
A lifetime's worth of mimicking people behind their backs; shocking my wife saying things that shouldn't be said in voices a white guy shouldn't be able to do. Stage acting (Abdullah in Camino Real, Crook-Finger Jack in Camino Real) with Infernal Bridegroom Productions in Houston (where Jim Parsons, aka Sheldon of Big Bang Theory honed his craft!). I'm currently learning the ins and out of voice acting at Voice One Studios in San Francisco.
My Studio Equipment
Currently, an i-mac and very nice microphone.
Additional Skills
I'm rather handsome, according to my mother (but not quite as handsome as my brother-in-law's nephews, oh how I hate them!). I'll gladly step in front of the camera, clothed or otherwise! Uh... actually we'll need to discuss that last part.
