Voice Description

I provide a knowledgeable and approachable sound that has been used for many online training courses. I can give you a nurturing mom, a best friend and a wry wife to a professional business woman. Mindy, the Bubble Head is near and dear to my heart (she's that Valley Girl we all love), as is Monica, the tough broad from Brooklyn. A sweet Southern gal lives in me as well as a lightly British lady.

My Voice Experience

I began recording jingles several years ago and have over 20 to my credit, including the newest version of "Libby's Libby's Libby's on the label, label, label." My commercials have promoted everything from eye drops, tuxedos, credit unions, grocery chains, newspapers and construction companies. Many phone answering systems require you to listen to me while you wait and if you're training for a job in banking, I've been the helpful voice on the computer guiding you through the course. I'm on the I-Pod of many college students trying to figure out how to secure a loan from Sun Trust Bank. Whether I'm a neighbor talking over a fence about the new bank in town or an over-stressed mom trying to make her family happy by getting a new fridge, I'm known to give clean reads in few takes.

I'm currently a radio host on 1340 WLVL-AM. My goal? NO DEAD AIR!! Also past host of "Human Touch" a news-magazine cable television program.

My Training

BA - Broadcasting from Buffalo State College (with a minor in Dance). Won the Dean's Award and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

AS - Theatre Arts from Niagara County Community College

Five years and counting with the Voice Actor Workshop of Western New York. An ongoing professional workshop taught by Toni Silveri.

Additional Skills

As mentioned above, I have worked quite a bit in television and radio, which gives me excellent improv skills. Also a substantial number of stage productions through college, include touring children's theatre. I was the assistant to the Executive Producer of Reading Rainbow for several years, which led to on-camera work during pledge drives for PBS. I have emceed parades and hosted televised telethons. I am also a singer with an all-female vocal group called "The Angels."

On "Human Touch" I served as Host/Producer/Reporter. My responsibilities included writing copy, editing video and audio packages and recording voice overs for news stories.
