Voice Description

My native language is English, and I speak Hebrew fluently. I am not fluent in French, but I can read and understand most of the language. When in conversation I am not good at gender and tense. I have made presentations for defense contractors. I can do a sexy voice, child's voice, professional voice, and fun or cartoon voice. I am very good with a lot of accents, including proper British, Cockney, French, Russian, and Middle Eastern. I can easily pick up other accents as needed. I am capable with a variety of American dialects, including an East Coast Southern Drall, New York City, Maryland, and general American.

My Voice Experience

I have volunteered as a storyteller for children, and act out character voices for them. I have not had any formal training in voice work, but have worked in a professional setting giving speeches and presentations for a number of years. I am very proficient with medical terminologies, and as a paralegal have had experience with legal terms. I studed latin for many years, and am very talented in easy pronounciation of anything thrown at me.

My Training

I have had voice lessons from a child through college, and have performed in many choirs. I was a member of the United States Music Ambassadors program, and sang in 6 European countries. I have a 4 octive range, from Alto 2 to Soprano 1. I have performed in many stage plays and musical theater in academic settings.

Additional Skills

I am an artist working from home, so I have time available for any voice project. I am physically disabled, but am very mobile. I have worked as a paralegal, medical secretary, and export licensing officer for a defense contractor. I was a temporary employee for a number of years, and am comfortable in any office environment. I worked in Washington, DC government everywhere from the Department of Energy, Postal Headquarters, Congress to private sector corporations like the National Forum of Black Public Administrators, Political Action Committees, and an Earth Science orginazition. I currently volunteer at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and have a good understanding of military terminology.
