Voice Description

My voice varies depending on the situation. My phone voice is very cheerful and upbeat, since my job is primarily talking to customers over the phone.

If I am speaking during a presentation at work, my voice turns more firm and persuasive. I have been a sales executive for about 4 years.

I also have a sultry, smoky type of voice used only when talking to my husband. I'm still in persuasive mode!

And then, of course, there's the true Texas "drawl" that I can effectively turn on or off! I use it just like a second language!!

My Voice Experience

Since I am new to the business, I have not had any "paid" voice over work. I have had to read scripts for call center jobs. I have also done a few greeting and mail box voice overs for small businesses.

My Training

I have a background in classical music. I was in music/choir classes from Junior High through College. I have been fully trained in the art of correct breathing and diction methods.

My Studio Equipment

I do not own a studio, however, my husband and I built a studio for a local client of ours. He produces music tracks for various companies. He has a small studio with 2 booths with mics. He also has his own editing software.
