Paula Bates is a St. Louis native who has written, produced, and been the voice talent on hundreds of scripts - on and off camera. Her voice experience includes radio and television, industrial and educational presentations, promos, documentaries, website education, and business phone systems. Bates received certification in Recording Arts from Thunderbird Recording Studios in Tijeras, New Mexico. As a result, she is better able to communicate production capabilities and opportunities with clients, producers, and engineers.

Bates has created marketing and public relations activities and promotional programs for commercial and non-profit clients alike. She began her career in the late 1980’s at Matteucci Broadcasting, Inc., in Albuquerque, New Mexico, working as an account executive. This gave her the opportunity to learn production and voice-over for commercials and promotional announcements. She then worked as the Public Affairs Manager for KOB TV, writing, producing, and working as talent for the NBC affiliate. After leaving KOB TV, Bates worked as an account executive for Cooney, Watson & Associates, and Cooney Productions. While with Cooney, she continued to write, produce, and record award-winning commercials, documentaries, and long-format industrial projects. Most recently, she was with The Missouri Bank as Marketing Director/Business Development Officer for three branch locations.
