Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I am able to perform many accents: Southern Bell, Southern rural, Teen Valley Girl style, a child laughing and playing, British(English), Scottish.
I also sing in blues, rock, folk and legit styles.

My Voice Experience

My background is in the theatre, I am a dancer and an alto singer so am largely ensemble which has given me the opportunity to perform many character rolls allowing me to perfect voices and accents.
I got my start in radio/commercials working as a DJ/AM News Director in Missoula, MT for 3 years and was the voice talent for many commercials. This experience gave me the opportunity to learn how to voice commercials and news stories in a studio environment.
Back in Denver I worked for Clear Channel Radio as a promotions director and for whom I voiced occasional spots as requested, as well as voicing and acting in several local TV commercials.

My Training

I have BFA in Dance/Theatre which included acting for television classes. I have also taken voice over training classes at the Denver Center for the Performing arts.

My Studio Equipment

I have a Lexicon Lambda mixer with Cubase LE 5 music production software and a Perception 220 microphone all set up in a sound proofed 5x5 room in my quite home. I am available 24/7.

Additional Skills

As well being an actor, dancer, singer, I am athletic and regularly run, rock climb, hike and ride my motorcycle(ok not so much an athletic activity). I have knowledge in medical terminology pronunciation from my Veterinary Technology degree and work in the veterinary field. In addition, I have IT knowledge from 6 years behind a computer in the mortgage industry and work with the state Medicaid program for individuals with developmental disabilities. I am also currently training to teach individuals with disabilities on horseback.
