My Voice Experience

A friend tells of a time when 10 of my teenage students were gathered in the back of our church talking among themselves. As I stood up in front of the congregation and began to speak the reading of the New Testament, my students, upon hearing my voice, walked as if in a trance to the edge of the tall, glass windows to hear me speak the Gospel. It reminded her of the verse about the lambs knowing their master's voice.

One can hear a pin drop when I perform a dramatic read-aloud in front of my classroom of middle school students. Their ears are sensitive to my alluring and animated recitation of short stories from well-known American authors. I have a keen ability to transform text from American classics into emotional and captivating "word" art.

I humbly submit that I am new to the voice talent industry. I know I have talent because of the response I experience when I read novels aloud to my students or Lector in front of my church community.

I have always been exuberant and lively speaking and performing in front of a group. In past jobs, I have led employee meetings of diverse audiences, including seniors executives and energetic sales teams. With a well-written script, a flare for creativity and a simple microphone, my animated voice talent captivates and allures some of the most critical audiences ranging from successful sales executives to teenage middle school students.
