My voice career began as a singer in the late '70's and '80's, and continued that path until 2010. In 1982, I joined forces with a local advertising agency for which I voiced both radio and cable television ads. From 2003 until October 2014, I was known as "The Voice of The Bridge", a Christian radio network in the Metro NY/NJ listening area, heard from 5:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. weekdays.
I've always had a flair for combining words in creative ways and have a love for writing. I take great pleasure in bringing out the best in their client products or services, and capturing the ear of the listener from start to finish.
Although not formally trained in voice in a traditional "school" setting, during high school and after graduating, I remained employed by using my voice professionally in singing, emceeing, phone messaging, and various voice projects. My "real-life" training is one that cannot be acquired through a text book, and I've enjoyed gleaning wisdom and technique from the many professional performers, entertainers, audio engineers, technicians, executives, and producers placed in my path. I've enjoyed the journey thus far, and I'm still moving forward! (And that's a good thing!)
I have spent a lifetime in the entertainment field. My voice has been key in every aspect of my career path, from the onset as a singer/emcee, through various voice projects, and in FM radio broadcasting. I'm blessed because I know that this has been an amazing gift that I've been given--the ability to do that which I love and to make a living at doing it!
